Pubs

Our pubs come with an array of CAMRA, food and drink recommendations from top guides. They also conjure the very essence of English country inns with log fires, oak beams, warm welcomes and character.

Take a tipple with Shakespeare, who reputedly wet his whistle at 17th-century The Bell Inn, a vision of flagstone floors and oak at Welford-on-Avon. And do sample our locally brewed ales, perhaps at The Griffin Inn, Church End, which also serves English wines and farm cider. In addition to traditional pub grub – perfect after a day in the fresh air – you’ll find all sorts of specialities, including Duck Suppers at The King’s Head, Aston Cantlow.
